Pirkanmaa District Court is this week handling an extensive series of theft offences. Two Finnish men are suspected of having broken into or attempted to break into numerous apartment block flats across six different municipalities in the region.
The prosecutor read out the charges against the men on Monday in court. The crime series involves a total of 28 victims from different parts of Pirkanmaa. Cash and jewellery worth several tens of thousands of euros went missing from them.
The scale of the offences is significant, as they span a wide area across several municipalities. Authorities arrested the suspects at the time of the offences.
