Fraud conviction upheld for Mika Lehto, former financier convicted of million-euro Lahti concert hall chaos
The Supreme Court did not grant leave to appeal for banker Mika Lehto, so the 4.5-year prison sentence imposed by the Court of Appeal will stand.

Banker Mika Lehto did not receive leave to appeal from the Supreme Court. The sentence handed down by the Helsinki Court of Appeal in autumn 2025 will therefore become final.
The Helsinki Court of Appeal convicted Lehto of four and a half years in prison for two serious economic crimes. The District Court had previously imposed a sentence six months longer.
Lehto was involved in the construction project for the Lahti concert hall. Large loans obtained for the project were used for his and another convicted person's private purposes. The construction company's slide into bankruptcy halted the work.
