A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and assault, which occurred at his home in the Launee area early on Saturday morning.

The police in Häme have arrested a 46-year-old man suspected of attacking his family in Lahti's Launee neighbourhood.
An emergency call reporting violence was received on Saturday morning, 27 June, at approximately 4.30 a.m. A patrol arrived at the address and took the family's father into custody.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the man attacked the family's mother with a knife. He is also suspected of injuring a minor child who was at home at the time of the incident.
Police have filed criminal charges for attempted murder and assault. The man is in custody.
