Man in camouflage clothing moved around Samk campus with toy gun – background reveals unusual fine case and classified detention matter
A large police operation was carried out at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences on 17 April when a potentially armed person was detected on campus. The man in camouflage clothing was arrested at a nearby shop, and the weapon he was carrying turned out to be a toy gun.
Initially, little was known about the details of the case. An investigation conducted by Satakunnan Kansa has now revealed new information about the man's background. His history contains an odd fine-based crime, unusual material on social media, and a detention matter classified as confidential.
The same vehicle that drew police attention during the operation had also caused confusion in Pori city centre previously.
