An emergency assistance request came in at approximately 11.30 to Nokiankuja. Several patrol units were dispatched to the scene.
In the incident, a man sustained serious injuries to his head area. The weapon used was a blade. The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have arrested two people who are suspected of involvement in the incident. Authorities are investigating whether the parties knew each other prior to the altercation.
The investigation is ongoing as attempted murder.
