Finland's Central Criminal Police uncover large-scale drugs ring – three Estonians suspected

Finland's Central Criminal Police (CCP) announced on 27 August a major international drugs investigation, in connection with which three Estonian nationals are suspected. They are suspected of serious drug offences, and according to police assessment, this was a skilfully organised and large-scale operation.

A total of 14.5 kilogrammes of amphetamine, 20 kilogrammes of marijuana, 6.5 kilogrammes of alpha-PVP, cocaine, tens of thousands of euros in cash and 160 litres of GBL were seized. According to the authorities, the drugs network's operations were exceptionally extensive in scale. Police believe that the entire operation was run from abroad.
