Finland's Central Criminal Police (KRP) on 27 August revealed a major international drug crime investigation, in connection with which a group comprising three Estonian nationals emerged. They are suspected of serious drug crimes, and according to police assessment, the operation was skilfully organised and large-scale.
Seized items included 14.5 kilogrammes of amphetamine, 20 kilogrammes of marijuana, 6.5 kilogrammes of the notorious alpha-PVP, cocaine, tens of thousands of euros in cash, and as much as 160 litres of GBL. The scale of the network is striking, with three Estonians at the heart of the entire case.
Police suspect that their activities were directed from abroad.
