A 28-year-old woman who went missing before Midsummer in Mynämäki in South-Western Finland was found dead after six days of searching. The woman, who lived in Raisio, disappeared from the vicinity of a street location, and her body was later found in the same area.
Police confirmed on Wednesday 24 June that the body had been found. According to authorities, the woman died as a result of violence, and the case is being investigated on suspicion of murder.
The search lasted six days before the woman was found dead. Police have not yet provided further details about the course of events or any possible suspects.
