South-western Finland police arrested the same man in his early twenties twice in less than two days in Karvia and Kankaanpää. He first drove a moped under the influence of alcohol and later drove a car without a licence whilst even more intoxicated.

South-western Finland police monitored traffic in Karvia during the night between Saturday and Sunday, 11 July. Shortly after one o'clock, a patrol stopped a man riding a moped who registered 0.8 per mille on the breathalyser test. The authorities suspect him of drink-driving.
Only an hour later, the same patrol stopped a car in Karvia, and the driver was again the same man in his early twenties. This time he did not have a valid driving licence. According to police, this was the eighth time this year that this man had been caught driving without a licence.
The following night between Sunday and Monday, at around three o'clock, police continued traffic monitoring in Kankaanpää. A patrol stopped the same man once more, this time behind the wheel of a car. He registered 1.6 per mille on this occasion. He is now suspected of aggravated drink-driving and of driving a vehicle without the required licence.
