Perpetrators of Vantaa robbery apprehended
Vantaansanomat.fi reported that East Uusimaa police have investigated a serious robbery that occurred in May in Itä-Hakki, Vantaa, in which a 14-year-old boy was the victim.
On Saturday, 16 May, the boy's shoes and headphones were stolen from him with threats of a knife. A police patrol was dispatched to the scene at nine o'clock on Saturday evening.
– The three suspected perpetrators had left the scene after the deed, says Commissioner Kristan Westerlund in a police statement.
Police apprehended the suspects based on their own investigative work. The last of the three suspects, a 14-year-old individual, was taken into custody on Tuesday, 2 June.
– All three suspects have now been apprehended and one of them has already been remanded in custody on probable cause of suspicion of serious robbery and robbery, Westerlund states.
