Oulu police received numerous reports on Tuesday evening of individuals going from house to house under the pretext of asking for water whilst stealing valuable items.

Oulu police received numerous reports on Tuesday evening of individuals going from house to house under the pretext of asking for water whilst stealing valuable items.
According to authorities, the criminals are driving fairly new vans with registration plates from Britain. Similar groups have been observed in residential areas and industrial sites across the Northern Ostrobothnia region.
Police ask anyone who witnesses suspicious individuals to report them to the emergency services number 112.
