An 18-year-old young man was found with multiple abdominal wounds during the night of Friday to Saturday on a square in L'Isle-d'Abeau, in Isère.

During the night of Friday to Saturday, an 18-year-old young man was discovered seriously injured on the Triforium square, located in L'Isle-d'Abeau in the department of Isère. He presented with multiple injuries to the abdomen, the result of an attack with a bladed weapon.
Emergency services, composed of firefighters and the emergency medical service, attended the scene to treat the victim. After stabilisation on site, he was transported urgently to Édouard-Herriot hospital in Lyon. His life was in critical danger at the time of his admission.
Gendarmerie soldiers opened an investigation to establish the exact circumstances of this assault and to identify the perpetrator or perpetrators. Investigations are continuing.
