Agents discovered 22.560 kilos of cocaine concealed in a compartment beneath the vehicle's floor. The man, born in 1995, was arriving from Spain and heading towards northern Europe, according to the Dax prosecutor's office.
The suspect was brought before the Dax prosecutor's office on Saturday 10 October and remanded in custody. He is to appear on Monday under the immediate trial procedure. This seizure is part of a wider operation conducted by local police with the National Investigation Unit, which had uncovered a structured network: orders via Snapchat, Uber Eats-style deliveries, and estimated monthly profits of 25,000 euros. On 30 June, six other suspects had already been arrested in this case.
