Investigators from the Family Protection Unit are actively searching for Gary Basileu, a 13-year-old boy, who has not been seen since Wednesday 1 July. That morning, the teenager left the house where he was placed with a family assistant, located in the municipality of Abymes.
The national police launched a public appeal on Thursday 2 July in order to gather any clue that might help the investigation. The services responsible for the case are asking anyone who may have seen the minor or who has any information that could help find him to come forward without delay.
