On 12 June 2026, a patrol from the autonomous territorial brigade of Roquevaire was patrolling La Destrousse, in Bouches-du-Rhône. The officers then encountered a man whose behaviour aroused their suspicions.

During their discussion, he indicated that he was waiting for a supply of illegal substances. The law enforcement authorities opted for discreet surveillance at 15:30, with the aim of verifying this information.

A few moments later, the buyer pointed to two young people leaving a fast-food restaurant, claiming they had just supplied him with white powder. The gendarmes immediately moved onto the car park and apprehended them.

During searches, the investigators seized 13 grammes of cocaine ready to be distributed, 230 euros in notes and the car used for the exchanges. All the material was confiscated.

Taken to the station, the two suspects subsequently appeared before the Marseille courts. Source: La Provence
