Free-party in Lozère: five arrests, over 3 kg of ketamine seized
Five men were arrested at a rave in Saint-Privat-du-Fau, one of whom was carrying over 3 kg of ketamine and a semi-automatic weapon.

Five men aged 20 to 31 were arrested at a free-party held on Thursday and Friday in Saint-Privat-du-Fau, Lozère, according to France Info citing statements from gendarmes to ICI Gard Lozère. Two of them were remanded in custody.
The arrests were made in possession of various substances: cocaine, LSD, cannabis, ketamine and ecstasy. One of the two suspects remanded in custody stands out for the scale of seizures made against him: over 3 kg of ketamine, 235 g of cocaine, 999 packets of counterfeit cigarettes, a semi-automatic firearm of 9 mm calibre and two magazines. The second was found in possession of 700 sheets of LSD and 19 ecstasy pills.
Up to 1,500 participants in extreme weather conditions
The free-party was set up in an agricultural area at 1,300 metres altitude, in the north of Lozère. The site hosted up to 1,500 people despite difficult weather conditions: snow, cold and rain marked the course of the event.
Seven people had to be assisted by emergency services. Among them, two were suffering from hypothermia and two others had become lost in the forest during the night, in the midst of a snowstorm. On Friday at midday, the mayor of the municipality indicated that participants were gradually beginning to leave the site.
