Fatal shooting in Toulouse: 23-year-old man shot dead outside school
A 23-year-old man, recently released from prison, was killed by gunfire on Sunday morning in Toulouse. An investigation into organised gang murder has been opened.

According to 20minutes.fr, a 23-year-old man was killed by gunfire in the early hours of Sunday morning, shortly after 3 a.m., in the Faourette district of Toulouse. The victim, released from prison during the summer and known to police and judicial authorities in unfavourable circumstances, was discovered outside a primary school, struck by multiple bullet impacts, including one to the head. Emergency services were unable to resuscitate him.
The shots were fired with a heavy-calibre weapon. According to video surveillance footage, a car approached the victim and a gunman got out before fleeing. The vehicle was later found set on fire in the vicinity.
"It is far too early to say what the motivations for this homicide were," a police source said. An investigation has been opened into organised gang murder.
