Around one o'clock in the morning, during the night of 7 to 8 June, Grenoble police officers stopped a car travelling at excessive speed on Louise-Michel street.
The young driver, aged nineteen, was at the wheel despite his driving licence having been suspended. The drug test proved positive, indicating recent consumption of illicit substances. Inspection of the vehicle revealed a limited quantity of cocaine and cannabis resin.
Among the three passengers, a seventeen-year-old adolescent was also carrying prohibited substances. Officers also found a knife on him.
The four occupants were taken to the police station and held in custody.
