Man stabbed three times on Avenue de Grammont in Tours, suspect at large
A 33-year-old man was found covered in blood after receiving three knife wounds on Avenue de Grammont in Tours. The suspect or suspects remain at large.
Three knife wounds on Avenue de Grammont, victim collapses outside a grocery shop
According to ici.fr, a man born in 1993 was attacked with a knife on Tuesday 8 September, around 11 p.m., on Avenue de Grammont in Tours. He received three stab wounds — to the right forearm, at triceps level and on the upper part of the left buttock — before taking refuge outside a grocery shop, a few metres from Place de la Liberté.
Passersby raised the alarm after spotting the victim and traces of blood in the surrounding area. Emergency services transported the man to CHRU Trousseau hospital; his condition is not life-threatening.
On Wednesday 9 September, the victim left the hospital to be interviewed in the afternoon by investigators at Tours police station. The perpetrator or perpetrators of the attack remain at large at this stage.
This is the second knife attack in less than a week in this area. The previous Friday, a man in his twenties had also been seriously injured by a knife weapon in the same neighbourhood.
