The Doubs gendarmerie launched an appeal for witnesses on Saturday 6 June 2026 to find Aude F., a 44-year-old nurse reported missing since Sunday 31 May at 4 p.m. According to midilibre.fr, the woman's vehicle was located at Jougne, in the Haut-Doubs, several kilometres from the Swiss border — without her being on board.
Law enforcement has described the disappearance as "concerning" and is conducting searches alongside the appeal for witnesses, in the hope of finding a trace of her.
According to the search alert distributed on the Doubs gendarmerie's social media, Aude F. is 1.56 metres tall, has a slim build and brown eyes. She is described as having mid-length brown hair and pierced ears. Law enforcement states that no information is known about her clothing at the time of her disappearance.
