Around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, gunfire erupted in Orval-sur-Sienne, a municipality in the Manche department. The attackers targeted the lounge of a detached house, situated at ground level. At that precise moment, the residents were in this room. Fortunately, they all escaped unharmed, as confirmed by the departmental police force.
On the basis of these serious facts, magistrates opened an investigation into attempted murder. Investigators from the Research Section based in Caen participated in the investigation. Ultimately, three teenagers were brought before the courts to answer this charge.
