Google News FR — Crime (fr) reports that a 32-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Sonia Bellina, a 29-year-old TikToker with more than 250,000 followers on the platform. The Nîmes public prosecutor's office announced the charge on Friday, more than a week after the discovery of the young woman's partially burnt body in the Gard.
Prosecutor Cécile Gensac indicated that the suspect has "a serious criminal history": he has already been convicted of domestic violence and drug trafficking.
According to the magistrate, "various elements may suggest that he was her last contact, in the context of a meeting in her capacity as an escort on the night in question".
