Loïk Le Priol and Romain Bouvier, two far-right activists, appear from 7 September before the Paris court of assizes for the murder of Argentine rugby player Federico Aramburu, according to BFM TV. Proceedings are expected to extend over three weeks.

Le Priol is charged with "murder", while Bouvier is prosecuted for "attempted murder". Two other people are being tried alongside them as accomplices.

Le Priol's girlfriend, Lyson Rochemir, and a friend of Bouvier, Anthony Sorrentino — whom he met within the GUD — are suspected of having concealed evidence and provided logistical assistance during the flight of the two men after the incident.
