This denunciation brings the total number of judicial proceedings targeting the 65-year-old artist to five. On 10 June, the singer had already been placed under formal investigation in four separate cases for sexual violence offences.
The facts alleged in the various cases are reported to date from different periods, with some accusations concerning incidents that occurred several years previously. The complainants chose to bring the matter before the courts in recent months.
The performer contests all the charges against him. His counsel has maintained his defence strategy based on a rejection of any involvement.
