Police officers intervened on Monday 1st June in the Fourchesvieilles district in Orange, an area regularly targeted by drug trafficking suppression operations. This action resulted in five people being taken into custody.
Among the suspects is a 20-year-old drug dealer from the Aude département. At the time of his arrest, he was attempting to conceal a bag containing herbal cannabis, resin and other illicit substances.
Security services are maintaining heightened surveillance of this sector in order to dismantle the drug trafficking networks operating there.
