Singer Patrick Bruel is the subject of three new legal proceedings over sexual violence. Two complainants accuse him of rape, while a third alleges sexual assault on a minor, reports franceinfo.
According to information gathered, one of the rape complaints concerns acts which are not subject to a statute of limitations. The artist's legal representatives responded by stating that their client would respond to "these false accusations in the only relevant and appropriate framework: the courts, should they take up these matters".
These new proceedings add to other cases already underway against the performer. In November 2024, a first complainant filed a rape complaint. In May 2025, a second woman did likewise, this time over acts of sexual violence with penetration.
The artist has consistently denied the accusations against him. His lawyers have reiterated their confidence in the functioning of justice.
