Nearly one kilogramme of drugs seized in Ajaccio: one year of immediate imprisonment requested
A man arrested during a traffic stop in Ajaccio has been sentenced to one year of immediate imprisonment following the discovery of cannabis, cocaine and heroin at his home.

Youcef El Allali was sentenced to one year of immediate imprisonment, according to corsematin.com, following a guilty plea hearing.
On Monday 1 June, the national police security unit conducted a traffic stop in Ajaccio during which El Allali was arrested in possession of 5.3 grammes of cocaine. A search subsequently carried out at his home revealed 875 grammes of cannabis, 53 grammes of additional cocaine and 11 grammes of heroin. A handgun and cash were also discovered at the location.
Already known to police and judicial authorities for similar offences, the defendant suffers, according to his lawyer Me Fanny Ganaye, from a "compulsive addiction".
