Prostitution network dismantled across five massage parlours in Lille

According to France Info, the Lille criminal court has sentenced the manager of several massage parlours to three years' imprisonment, of which 18 months' imprisonment without suspension, for aggravated pimping. The decision was handed down in recent days following an investigation that resulted in the dismantling of a prostitution network operating within five establishments across the Lille metropolis.

The case began with an anonymous report alleging "illegal services" at one of these parlours. Police officers from the North proceeded to arrest the manager on 9 June, the date on which the network was officially dismantled.

49,000 euros seized, a vehicle and luxury items

During the operation, investigators recovered 24,000 euros in cash concealed in the premises, as well as 25,000 euros available in bank accounts. A vehicle and several luxury items were also seized.

The police of the Nord department clarified in a statement transmitted to ICI Nord on Thursday 20 August that the victims identified in this network were taken into care by the competent services.
