Red light run, cocaine and cash: a Tarbes woman in custody

According to nrpyrenees.fr, a woman in her fifties was arrested on Sunday 16 August in Tarbes after running a red light on Boulevard Pierre Renaudet in the presence of a national police patrol. During the traffic stop, officers discovered €4,300 in cash on the driver, who also tested positive for cocaine.

This aggravating circumstance led the police to conduct a search of her home. The search recovered 4.3 g of cannabis and 0.8 g of cocaine.

The woman claimed the drugs were for her personal consumption and denied any trafficking. However, she was unable to justify the source of the €4,300 found in her possession.
