Cannabis trafficking on rue de Circé in Montpellier: three men arrested, over 3 kg seized
A suspected drug dealer jumped from a first-floor window to flee police on 18 August in Montpellier. Three men were referred for immediate appearance before a court.

According to Google News FR — Crime (fr), officers from the drugs squad of the Local judicial police service (SLPJ) entered an apartment located on rue de Circé in Montpellier on 18 August, following prolonged surveillance and with the support of a sniffer dog.
When the police forces entered, a 28-year-old man jumped from the first-floor window and fled barefoot. He was quickly caught and arrested. A second individual, aged 26 and suspected of acting as a deliverer, was still in the flat at the time of the operation.
The officers seized 2.420 kg of cannabis resin and 830 grammes of cannabis herb from the apartment. The fugitive was moreover subject to a previous conviction to 30 months in prison.
The investigation led officers to also search the home of the elder brother of the first arrested man, aged 30, where 260 grammes of cannabis herb were discovered.
The three men were referred before the Montpellier public prosecutor for immediate appearance before a court.
