A man in his forties from Val-de-Marne has been convicted of selling cocaine in Lorient. He was arrested in June in possession of several vials and a substantial sum of money.

A 44-year-old man was tried in Lorient (Morbihan) for selling cocaine. On 3 June 2026, police caught him at the rear of a Peugeot handing over vials of the substance to two customers.
Moments earlier, the suspect had attempted to evade a traffic stop in another vehicle. In that vehicle, officers discovered approximately 1,200 euros in cash and twenty-four vials containing cocaine.
Originally from Val-de-Marne, this individual had recently been released from prison. He appeared before the court on drug-trafficking charges.
During the hearing, the magistrate reminded the defendant that this was not an activity comparable to selling fruit at a market. The court ultimately imposed a sentence of three years in prison.
