Two men aged 24 and 25 were arrested at a dealing point in Vaison-la-Romaine and convicted to custodial sentences. Gendarmes seized nearly 300 grammes of cannabis, 45 grammes of cocaine and over 1,200 euros.

Gendarmes carried out two arrests on Saturday evening in Vaison-la-Romaine, in Vaucluse. The suspects, a 24-year-old from Lyon and a 25-year-old from Montpellier, were spotted dealing drugs on the banks of the Ouvèze.
At the time of their interception, law enforcement found modest quantities of drugs on the two individuals as well as accounting documents. A search of their rented residence subsequently led to the discovery of a larger stock: approximately 300 g of cannabis, 45 g of cocaine and a sum of 1,230 € in cash.
After being held in police custody, the two dealers were brought before the courts. The elder, already convicted previously for similar offences, was sentenced to fifteen months' imprisonment with an immediate remand order. The second received eight months in custody. In addition, both were banned from Vaucluse department.
