The matter was brought to public attention through a publication on the social media account of the Haute-Corse national police. Officers from the anti-crime brigade (BAC) carried out the arrests on the spot.
A search conducted at the home of the suspected dealer made it possible to seize 67 grammes of cocaine and 68 grammes of cannabis, according to information communicated by the police.
"An investigation has been opened for trafficking in narcotic products," stated Jean-Philippe Navarre, prosecutor of the Republic of Bastia. "It has been entrusted to the inter-departmental directorate of the national police of Haute-Corse."
