Drug trafficking in Lunéville: weapons arsenal seized, three remanded in custody
Three suspects, including a minor, have been remanded in custody following the discovery of a drug and firearms trafficking network in Lunéville. The network is reported to have generated at least 11,000 euros over four months.

According to ici-c-nancy.fr, three people — including a minor — have been remanded in custody following an investigation into drug trafficking in Lunéville, in Meurthe-et-Moselle. The inquiry also led to the seizure of a substantial firearms arsenal.
The preliminary investigation was conducted by Lunéville's local criminal investigation service (SLPJ), under the authority of Nancy's public prosecutor's office. It uncovered trafficking in cocaine, heroin, cannabis and ecstasy within a building on Rue Florent-Schmitt, known as the "Dragon Tower". According to the prosecutor's office, this trafficking had been active for approximately four months and had generated "at least 11,000 euros".
Five men aged 17, 18, 26, 42 and 52 were arrested and placed in police custody on 19 and 20 May. During searches, officers seized 126 grams of heroin, 29 grams of cannabis herb, 25 grams of cocaine and 25 ecstasy tablets, along with packaging bags and precision scales.
Investigators also recovered "a substantial arsenal of firearms, in categories A and B" — semi-automatic pistol, semi-automatic rifle, submachine gun, revolver — as well as magazines and ammunition, according to a statement from Nancy's prosecutor, François Capin-Dulhoste.
The three youngest suspects were referred to Nancy's prosecutor's office on Friday 22 May. A judicial investigation was opened for offences relating to drugs legislation, offences relating to firearms legislation and money laundering. The two adult suspects were remanded in custody following their committal for trial, whilst the minor was placed under judicial supervision.
