The investigation by the Cyber Crime Office (Ofac) dates back to spring 2025. The investigators had then discovered publications offering access to confidential databases, notably the file of individuals sought by the justice system. The two defendants were apprehended six months later, on 15 December 2025.
The facts alleged relate to misuse of the purpose of an administrative file and the unlawful transmission of information covered by professional secrecy. The officer would be at the origin of the data leak, which she would have resold with her accomplice on the social network.
The trial must determine the extent of this trafficking and the number of illegal searches carried out. This case highlights the risks associated with agents' access to sensitive information systems.
