According to republicain-lorrain.fr, it was a woman who was at the origin of the dismantling of this drug trafficking network in Moselle, resulting in the conviction of seven people and the seizure of nearly €900,000 worth of goods.
In January 2026, police from Metz's drugs squad managed to geolocate the vehicle of the only woman in the gang. The investigation revealed that the latter had been making suspicious trips back and forth to foreign countries, notably Belgium, since 1 July 2025 — a date coinciding with the incarceration of her partner, who was himself involved in another trafficking operation.
The young woman allegedly then took over, drawing her brother and cousin into the network. Each delivery earned them approximately one hundred euros.
The investigations, conducted largely thanks to surveillance cameras installed in Thionville, Uckange, Gandrange and Florange, made it possible to identify other vehicles used for the transport and storage of drugs, ultimately leading to seven people being implicated in total.
