Argenteuil police have ended a drugs network active in Val-d'Oise. The operation resulted in the arrest of five people and the seizure of more than 1.5 kg of cannabis.

Law enforcement officers from Argenteuil concluded a drugs case in the Val-d'Oise department at the end of June. Five people were taken into custody, of whom three will be tried.
It all began at the end of March, when initial evidence was passed on to investigators. They then set up an elaborate surveillance operation, employing drones, telephone and financial analyses, as well as OSINT techniques.
Over several weeks, police officers mapped out how the network operated, identified its key members and determined their connections with a sales outlet established in Cormeilles-en-Parisis.
On 29 June, the intervention operation was launched. Searches resulted in the confiscation of more than one and a half kilograms of cannabis, a 12-calibre rifle held illegally, and a sum exceeding 1,200 euros in cash. Officers also recovered equipment used for packaging, various valuable items, electronic devices and several watches.
Calculations carried out by Val-d'Oise national police services estimate that this illegal activity generated more than 50,000 euros in revenue in just over two months of operation. On the social media platform Facebook, the departmental administration paid tribute to the work of the Argenteuil teams.
