YouTuber Greg Guillotin to be tried on 27 November for domestic violence
The 43-year-old comedian, known for his hidden-camera videos, is facing prosecution for habitual violence against a former partner between 2020 and 2026.
Greg Guillotin faces justice for domestic violence
Grégory Guillotin, a 43-year-old YouTuber and comedian, will be tried on 27 November in Évry (Essonne) for alleged domestic violence. According to BFM TV, he was presented to the public prosecutor's office on Tuesday, 29 September following a period of police custody that began on Monday morning in Palaiseau.
The public prosecutor's office accuses Guillotin of "acts of habitual violence by a spouse resulting in total incapacity for work of more than 8 days", specifically 30 days. These acts of violence allegedly took place between 9 September 2020 and 6 April 2026, when the victim was aged between 21 and 27.
Before his appearance before a judge of freedoms and detention, the public prosecutor's office requested his placement under judicial supervision: prohibition of contact with the victim, prohibition from appearing at her home, and obligation to undergo treatment. The initial complaint was filed on 17 June by his ex-partner, who accuses Guillotin of repeated physical and psychological violence, surveillance, humiliation and insults during their relationship.
Known for his hidden-camera videos and clips on the programme "Touche pas à mon poste!" (C8), Grégory Guillotin has 4.4 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. He publicly acknowledged the violence denounced following its revelation in the press, stating that he was "ashamed" of it.
