A 25-year-old man was shot dead on Thursday evening in the Pointe-à-Bacchus sector in Petit-Bourg, according to guadeloupe.franceantilles.fr. This death brings the number of homicides recorded since the beginning of the year in the judicial jurisdiction of Guadeloupe to 32, including one in Saint-Martin.
The incident occurred between the Laura Flessel sports palace and the Droits de l'Homme secondary school. According to a witness, five gunshots rang out on the evening of 24 September.
