A 62-year-old man was arrested in a rural area of Viannou in Heraklion district for cultivating cannabis seedlings that reached a height of 3.5 metres, according to Proto Thema.
The operation was organised by Heraklion Police Directorate as part of a special plan to combat the cultivation, possession and trafficking of narcotic substances, following the processing of relevant information.
During the operation, police officers seized scales, a mobile telephone, cultivation tools and a van.
