On the afternoon of Monday 29 June, police officers from the OPKE Chania located and arrested a 73-year-old man, as a judicial warrant was outstanding against him.
Material published by ERTnews indicates that the elderly man faces very serious charges. Specifically, he is accused of attempted murder of a relative, whilst he had previously been the subject of complaints for the exercise of violence within the home, as well as for crimes against animals.
