A 26-year-old man was arrested last Thursday on Aegina on suspicion of repeated indecent acts against a minor. The arrest was carried out by a special police unit from the Directorate of Child Protection under a warrant.
According to information from Naftemporiki, the victim is a girl aged over 12 but under 15 years old. The authorities believe that from August 2025 onwards, the arrested man repeatedly committed acts that violated the child's sexual dignity.
The case was investigated by the Directorate of Prosecution of Electronic Crime and the General Police Directorate of Attica, which gathered the necessary evidence for the issuance of the warrant. The 26-year-old was taken to the competent prosecutor to give a statement.
The charges he faces are particularly serious, as they concern sexual abuse of a minor and violation of sexual dignity. The authorities have not released further details to the public in order to protect the victim's identity, given their age.
The case falls within the efforts of the Hellenic Police to combat crimes against minors, with special units working systematically to protect children.
