Aigion: 15-year-old wounded in knife attack by minors – case files opened against parents as well
A minor attacked a 15-year-old with a knife in Aigion. Police identified two individuals and opened case files against them and their parents.
Knife attack on 15-year-old in Aigion – two case files for minors and parents
As reported by Dikastiko.gr, a 15-year-old was wounded in a knife attack in Aigion during a violent incident between minors that unfolded in two phases.
According to ERT, the two victims were walking on foot when a car approached them with two occupants. One of the passengers, also a minor, allegedly insulted them, exited the vehicle and hit one of the two 15-year-olds, whilst simultaneously attempting to wound him with a knife.
The incident did not end there. The two minors on foot came face to face with the same vehicle again. According to the complaint, the driver performed dangerous manoeuvres, whilst the minor passenger attacked one of the two for a second time.
The wounded 15-year-old was taken to hospital, where he received first aid.
Police identified two individuals in connection with the incident and opened a case file against them. In parallel, a case file was also opened against the minor perpetrator's parents for negligent supervision. The case will be referred to the Chief Prosecutor of the District Court of Achaia, at the Aigion branch office.
