An attack with a sharp object at a petrol station in Rafina resulted in three people being injured. The perpetrator, a 52-year-old of Albanian origin, was arrested following a pursuit.

Three people were injured on Friday morning at a petrol station in Rafina, at the intersection of Fleming Avenue with Demokratias Street.
A 52-year-old of Albanian origin attacked an Egyptian employee of the station and a customer, a fellow national of his, using a sharp object. The employee received blows to the head and hand, whilst the customer was injured in both limbs.
The attacker then attempted to leave on foot. The customer who had been attacked got into his vehicle, chased him, and struck him with the car, causing him injuries to the leg.
According to information from the Athens-Macedonia News Agency, the 52-year-old faces mental health issues. He was transferred for hospitalisation at Gennimatas Hospital, whilst the other two injured parties went to Rafina Health Centre.
