A violent assault involving juvenile perpetrators was recorded at a small harbour in Amaliada in Elis. The victim was a 42-year-old man who had observed a group of young people engaged in dangerous stunts with large-displacement motorcycles.
The incident occurred while the man was in the area with his son fishing. When he spoke to them about the dangerous driving, the young people subjected him to verbal abuse and subsequently beat him with punches and kicks, leaving him bloodied on the road surface.
The victim was taken to a medical facility for medical care. The police authorities launched an operation to locate those responsible.
During the investigation, a 14-year-old was arrested. Investigations continue for the identification of the other members of the group who participated in the violent act.
