A 29-year-old woman was arrested today in Upper Town on suspicion of attempted homicide against her 24-year-old Greek partner.
According to police, the incident occurred during an intense quarrel between the couple. The 29-year-old Romanian woman allegedly used a knife against her partner, wounding him.
The 24-year-old was transported to hospital where he is being treated. Doctors confirmed that his health condition is not a cause for concern.
A file was opened against the arrested woman by police officers from the White Tower Crime Investigation and Detection Department. The 29-year-old was brought before the competent authorities for further proceedings.
