Arvanitis: Seat for Mitsotakis in the dock next to Triandopoulos

Arvanitis on Tempi: "There should be another seat in the dock next to Triandopoulos, for his political superior and Prime Minister, K. Mitsotakis"

According to In.gr, SYRIZA MEP Kostas Arvanitis stated that in the dock of the Special Court, next to Christos Triandopoulos, "there should be one more seat, for his political superior and Prime Minister, K. Mitsotakis".

Speaking on the Sto Kokkino 105.5 radio station, Arvanitis emphasised that "the deputy minister to the Prime Minister receives orders and reports to only one person: the country's Prime Minister", adding that Triandopoulos himself has admitted that he handled the matter on the orders of the Prime Minister.

The MEP posed two questions: on whose orders did Triandopoulos attend the meeting in Tempi on 3 March 2023 "to cover up the scene of the crime", and on whose orders were 600,000 euros disbursed for the covering up and from which fund.

"The Special Court has much work to do with the eight-year Mitsotakis tenure", Arvanitis argued, claiming that "both in the crime of Tempe and in the Predator crime and in the OPEKEPE crime, Maximos was the mastermind and centre of directive instructions". He also commented that "Mr Triandopoulos stepped forward for the leader, as his nephew had done earlier with the notorious bullet".

According to reliable information conveyed by In.gr, the senior judges studied the entire case file and evaluated the evidence, ruling that the offence of breach of duty is established for former deputy minister Christos Triandopoulos, former Thessaly regional governor Kostas Agorasto and three other non-political figures, who will be referred to the Special Court.
