According to Google News GR — Crime (el), the Sports Violence Prevention Unit of the Hellenic Police conducted arrests of Panathinaikos supporters in Athens yesterday.
A total of ten individuals were arrested and transferred from the Police Headquarters (GADA) to the prosecutor in the morning. They face charges of criminal organisation, arson, explosion, manufacture and possession of explosive materials, attempted murder, bodily harm, damage to others' property, robbery, extortion, as well as violations of laws concerning weapons, flares and narcotics.
One of those arrested is described as a leadership member of the organisation. The same individual had previously been charged with participation in a clash between supporters of AEK, Panathinaikos and Dinamo Zagreb in August 2023 — an incident in which Michalis Katsouris lost his life.
The case file encompasses a total of 39 individuals, with the organisation's activities dating back at least to August 2025. Those involved are alleged to have launched attacks against supporters of Olympiacos, Larissa and Atromitos, operating primarily in the western suburbs of Attica.
