A serious incident of harassment and public defamation occurred in Heraklion, Crete, according to Newsbeast: an unknown perpetrator placed dozens of envelopes on the windscreens of vehicles in a central location of the city, which contained photographs, address and telephone number of a woman, accompanied by abusive content.

The incident was recorded by a security camera during the night. In the video document that was released, a person with obscured facial features can be seen moving through the area and leaving envelopes in many parked vehicles.

The woman herself, who resides near the location, was notified of the distribution and immediately filed a complaint with police. The authorities are conducting an intensive investigation and examining video material from security cameras in the area with the aim of identifying and apprehending the perpetrator or perpetrators.
