Tempe Trial: Prosecutor seeks rejection of Greek State's representation statement
The prosecutor of the Three-Member Court of Serious Crimes in Larissa proposed that the statement of representation by the Greek State in the trial concerning the Tempe tragedy be rejected.

Today's hearing in the trial for the railway tragedy at Tempe began with the submissions of the prosecutor of the Three-Member Court of Serious Crimes in Larissa regarding statements of representation in support of the prosecution, according to Naftemporiki.
The prosecutor proposed that statements by Bar Associations be accepted, but exclusively for the offence of endangering transport safety. By contrast, she sought the rejection of the statement by the locomotive drivers' organisation "Panhellenic Union of Traction Personnel" as well as the statement by the Greek State.
Furthermore, the prosecutor proposed that statements of representation concerning the offence of breach of duty not be accepted.
Proceedings continue with submissions by counsel in support of the prosecution.
